Atom and Sub-Atomic Particles

This is a carbon atom. Protons (white) have a positive charge (+) and neutrons (shaded) are electrically neutral (n) are found in the nucleus. Electrons (black) have a negative charge (-) and orbit the nucleus at the speed of light!
